Because of my teaching and child development background, I write in the parenting niche, but I also help other people with their own writing projects and passions. I have had the opportunity to help people all over the world with their writing goals, including ghostwriting for a number of clients, developmental editing for children’s fiction, creative non-fiction and memoirs, and editing blog posts and business content.
“Absolutely wonderful to work with! Will definitely use again, if needed! We were very much on the same page and worked well together. She not only helped me write the rest of my story but helped me fix the structure/organization. I never could have finished this without her. Very knowledgeable and contributed great content, much of which came from sources I never would have known about. Thank you! “Molly M (non-fiction) – United States
People have fantastic ideas (I sure you have some great ones!) and helping individuals, like you, is a passion of mine. I love empowering people to share their skills, knowledge and ideas with the world in a clear, beautiful and engaging way.
Writing has been both my career (non-fiction) and my hobby (fiction) for the past decade. My non-fiction has been published in many print and online magazines and newspapers and my fiction has won awards, including the New Zealand Society of Authors Year-long Mentorship.
Writing is an incredibly satisfying and rewarding process! To have an idea, craft it and then share your final polished piece with an audience is a wonderful, creative outlet. Writing can inspire, influence and inform. Done correctly, great content is powerful.
Most people have an idea they’d like to develop, information they want to share, or a book they’d love to write. Unfortunately, getting a proper manuscript assessment done or doing a course to improve your writing skills can be very expensive. Often people spend thousands trying to improve their content and get it ready for publication.
I have spent years working on the craft of writing and am passionate about helping other people develop their work, whether fiction or non-fiction. If you’d like feedback on your content or help to develop your writing, I’d love to hear from you. I have been fortunate to work with a number of amazing writing mentors and editors in my career and I know how valuable supportive, experienced critique can be. If you’d like to chat about your writing please contact me. I take on a few clients every month for very affordable rates (because I want you to win at this writing business!) and I will do my best to help.
To help me get a good idea of what you need, include the following in your email:
- Put “Writing Query” in your subject line
- Introduce yourself and explain briefly what you need and if there are deadlines you are working to.
- Attach your content as a Word or Pages document (no more than 1000 words, for example the first chapter of your novel.)
Everything you share with me will remain confidential and never be shared with anyone else. Your content belongs to you and I will always be respectful of that.
I look forward to hearing about your ideas!
